Connor Selby

Honesty and authenticity are the two words that have always been at the heart of the music of the young British troubadour Connor Selby. Having moved around as a child between the UK, US, and UAE before settling in his birthplace in Essex, he has always had a burning passion for the authentic rootsy music of the US.

It’s easy to see why his soulful blend of blues and emotionally introspective song-writing, sitting alongside his impressive guitar playing, ticks all the boxes for so many blues fans in the UK today. There’s a timeless melancholic quality to his music, relatable in its honesty and openness.

Voted “Young Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards for three consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022), Selby's debut album release, the self-titled Connor Selby, has picked up numerous plays on national radio, and in particular, BBC Radio 2. He has already ticked off an impressive bucket-list of leading UK venues, including Wembley Stadium, where he opened for The Who in July 2019. He has since gone on to play Hyde Park (London) with Pearl Jam, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr in the summer of 2022, and toured the the UK as the opening act for blues and rock luminaries Robert Cray and Beth Hart.

Selby's latest recording, The Truth Comes Out Eventually was released in August 2025 via Provogue Records
