Georgie Hume & The Pity Party
Georgie Hume & The Pity Party are a London based trio led by guitarist George Hume, who's sound incorporates a blend of early 60's Jamaican jazz and Cuban inspired rhythms, creating a sound that's been described as 'Tropical Jazz'.
Formed in London in 2023, also featuring Silas Maitland on bass and Loris Peverani on drums their debut EP was released in February, 2024 receiving early support from Jazz FM, Soho Radio and well respected podcast The Blue & Soul Show. They finished the year releasing a collaboration with singer Ade Omotayo (Gorillaz, Amy Winehouse) and a sold out show at Camden's Green Note.
The trio's debut album will be released in 2025.
