Hattie Whitehead
Raised on folk and jazz greats of the sixties and seventies, Hattie Whitehead's outspoken voice blend folk sensibilities with a modern sound shaped by her discovery of contemporary genres.
Hattie's live career has seen her selected as one of Glastonbury's Emerging Artists along with a raft of festival appearances including Latitude, Wilderness, Field Day and Cambridge Folk Festival.
Hattie's debut album Bloom delves into existential themes of empowerment, family, womanhood and relationships with a tone of re-growth and optimism, following a long journey through the grieving process. Bloom is an album that follows a period of great personal pain but is ultimately a tale of personal growth, acceptance and empathy.
“Hattie Whitehead has rich, honeyed vocals as well as a talent for writing enthralling melodies and soul-baring honest lyrics.”
- The Telegraph
